Monsoon Lagoon is night club based on the philosophy that entertainment is equal to visuals and music. It’s been running since 2000, bringing pounding dance music, and even flame-blowing barmen, it’s surely to become the ultimate clubbing experience. Snow falls, bubbles float around, and a hurricane mist surrounds you and your friends. Professional dancers perform every night, while massive screen project images from previous shows and parties.
Open Wednesdays from 8:00 PM (lades free from 8-9:00 PM), with a cover charge of R40 for ladies ($6.00) and R50 for gents ($7.00). Thursdays are open from 9:00, with a cover charge of R40 for ladies ($4.00) and R50 for gents ($7.00). Fridays are open from 9:00 PM and cover charge is R50 ($7.00) for both ladies and gents. Saturdays are open from 9:00 PM and cover charge is R70 ($9.50) for everybody. Dress code is “fashionably smart” and guys aren’t allowed in with vests, torn or faded jeans, or sneakers.
